Hey Everyone, I know a few of you would have seen my first post a few weeks back, Well im now ready to give an update with a few changes but also the full proper announcement.

I am starting up a Gr.3 Racing Competition in GT 7 for Australian & New Zealand Racers only (Due to Internet Connectivity Issues that will occur due to living in Down Under).


I will be live streaming every Practice, Qualifying & race & then also having a replay saved and uploaded to YouTube Later :).

Dunlop Championship 2023 Season Announcement :

Car Restrictions :

- Gr.3 Cars Only
- No VGT cars (To much of an upper advantage)
  • Max BHP : 850 (Originally was going to set it at 750 but a few cars once you upgrade them go over that and I didn''t feel it was enough either)
  • Must have Dunlop Racing Tyres (If Applicable to you car)
  • Must keep the same Car throughout the whole Championship (Livery must keep same sponsor eg. Castrol Team Racing Toyota Supra, but can change the look of the livery if you want).
  • Must keep the same race number throughout championship (Will designate your number when registering, see below for more.)
  • If you choose a real life racing Livery (Supercars, F1, NASCAR etc.. must replace racers name with your ID)
  • Must have at least 1 Dunlop Sponsor Sticker on your Car.
  • Can Have a friend or another racer be a racing team partner (Max Limit to only 2 racers per Team)
  • Must Have Tyres (Racing - Soft, Medium, Hard & Intermediate & Wet) - Not all Races will have all tyre requirements but some will, so make sure you have all available).


Championship Structure :

- Races will be held on a Friday Night & Saturday Night, 1st Weekend and last Weekend of each month from July til Early December.
  • Every Race Lobby will be held in a Friend / Private Lobby (Will have to be friends on PSN with me so I can send a Invite) & will be scheduled in AEDT.
  • Practice Sessions will be opened at a certain time (see schedule below for more) with a potential of 30 mins or so before qualifying begins (May change depending on circumstances)
  • Every Qualifying Session will have a minimum of 15mins and max of 30mins (Track selection will be reason for fluctuation)
  • Race Settings will be different & change each race so no setting will be set in stone (Expect alot of differences from race to race).


Points System :
1st Place = 16pts
2nd Place = 15pts
3rd Place = 14pts
4th Place = 13pts
5th Place = 12pts
6th Place = 11pts
7th Place = 10pts
8th Place = 9pts
9th Place = 8pts
10th Place = 7pts
11th Place = 6pts
12th Place = 5pts
13th Place = 4pts
14th Place = 3pts
15th Place = 2pts
16th Place = 1pt

Pole Position = 5pts
Fastest Lap in Race = 3pts

* (Pts system above is for the majority of the races - standard, However there will be Endurance Races which will be 2x the above pts system as the Races will be longer).
