No longer getting bell notification

For some reason, I am no longer getting bell notifications for threads that I follow. The bell notification does not light and I get no notification popup in Safari any more. Im on macOS if that makes a difference. I have not changed any notification settings that I am aware of, but it appeared to stoop working a week or two back and has not restarted.

Ideas?
 
I'm not aware of any issues. I just checked the database to review a log of the notifications sent to you and they appear to be delivered and marked as read as of a few hours ago.

Keep in mind that you will only receive a notification for the first new message posted in a thread since you last visited it. You won't get notifications for subsequent messages posted after that until you visit the thread again.

Did you receive a notification for this reply?
 
I've noticed that is is now working again. Or so it seems. I have started to get some notifications when I am in the forums. I am not sure if I am getting them outside of the forums. I will have to monitor it more.
