Partially to promote the launch of the new RCZ and partly to celebrate its 200th anniversary, Peugeot announced it would enter two specially prepared cars for the 2010 Nurburgring 24 Hour in the new D1T Category for Diesel cars, in the hands of both a French and German team. The car was mostly standard save for the compulsory safety equipment and a few select parts from the Peugeot Sport “client motor racing” range and was powered by a 2.0 Liter HDI FAP diesel engine that produced 200 Hp. The car managed to successfully win in its class on debut with the #200 of Jean-Philippe Peugeot (Vice-president of the PSA Group’s Supervisory Board), Stéphane Caillet (Ground link technician), Cyrus Ayari (Sales executive) and Olivier Perez (Peugeot Marketing executive). This car celebrates a milestone in Peugeot's history and does so in winning fashion so it would make a very important addition to the lineup.

Engine
: 2.0L HDI FAP Turbo I4
Horsepower: 200 hp
Transmission: 6-Speed Manual
Weight: 1,474 Kg
