It's time to put the 'stock' back in stock cars!

This first post will be updated and beautified so please feel free to check back!

First, thank you for your interest! American Short Track oval racing is a unique and challenging form of motorsport competition. These events will use the truest form of "stock cars" and will be open only to production style vehicles. This is not a series and there will be no championship points awarded. It's just going to be a fun weekly event you can participate in as you please. Race lengths will vary from multiple short races, a few medium length races, and then a 100lapper now and then.
Overview -
  • This is going to be a recurring weekly event that'll take place on Sundays (except Holidays).
  • All Races will be at Northern Isle Speedway
  • Cars will be Production Vehicles Only: Group N, V8, RWD, 600hp Maximum, 3200lbs Minimum, Coupe/Sedan Bodystyles This is subject to change
  • Will alternate between Modern (2000<) and Classic (1999>) vehicles each week.
  • "Dress Code" Vehicles Must have multi-lug wheels (no center locks, yet) and an American Stock-car Style Livery with door and roof numbers.
  • Car Selection is not concrete and you may choose a different car every week if you desire. Number Font is permitted to be changed.
  • Participation Number and Car Number Rules: Prior to competition, you are to select a three-digit number (ex: Mine will be 321), your car number must be some version of those three digits each week. (ex: 3, 32, 21, 2, 1, 321) This will ensure your identity is relatively consistent between each race but will reduce the possibility of similar numbers being used between competitors. If You and a Competitor would like to use the same number, simply agree to alternate between weeks.
  • Tire wear and Fuel Consumption will be ON. (Might differ for every event and will be announced on the Monday before).
  • Tuning is going to be ON. BoP will be OFF.
  • No penalties for contact with others or walls, but Damage will be ON and Car Ghosting will be Strong, at least for the first few events.
  • With that having been said, this is a CLEAN RACING Event. A little nudging and bumping is fine, but outright ramming, turning or actions detrimental to stock car racing deemed unfair or excessively aggressive will result in behavioral correction.
