That did happen.
In 1900 EV and steam powered cars were about 80% of the market.
Interesting stuff. I wonder whatever happened to Hydrgen as a fuel? Powerful as petro, easy on the environment, good mileage, and cheap as water..
I just added v3 Inverted Pedals to my Fanatec setup. Really nice, but brakes are taking a getting used to. I may or may not participate this a.m. depending on my faith in them, and may bail if my faith proves too high. Really nice equipment though. Definitely worth the money. Worth the headaches involved in buying them however, is another story.

****!! Major apologies to everyone, especially those I punted in this mornings races. I should have stayed out until i had these brakes nailed down. Most embarrassing, be assured.
Btw, why no voice chat? I would have gotten a few well-desereved ear-fulls today, no doubt.

Thanks Eric,, I enjoyed this one a bunch,, especially the SpaceX rockets :)
Now,, here's another VERY COOL video by the RedBull gang,, DRONE vs RB F1 with Max at the throttle:

Thanks John, I was just getting ready to post that insane drone video, but you beat me to it. 👍

That is one insane drone, aka the flying dildo. 🤣 It was epic following Max in the wet at Silverstone. The dude flying that drone has some mad skills, especially when he had to increase altitude to pop over the track bridges.

I might have the best wife ever guys. My PS5 order kept getting delayed. They tried to sell me another version. Not what I ordered. So, fast forward to today. My wife had me send her a wish list for gear. Only to find out she does this...
I'll stay on the PS4 for now gentlemen.. I say good day!

The PS5 Pro will probably be available near the end of this year.
If speculation holds true, the main benefit of the PS5 Pro will be 8K video support. So one would need an 8K television to reap any such benefit. The PS4 to PS4 Pro main upgrade, similarly, was the ability to get 4K video. Which made a lot more sense, because 4K tv’s were becoming more mainstream at the time.

Point is, a regular PS5 should serve anyone well. Anecdotally, a friend and neighbor of mine bought a gigantic Samsung 8K tv last year for an astronomical price. He became very disappointed that there is virtually no 8K content available. Oh well, at least he’s ready for the future, if and when it arrives.

Al, I kept getting disconnected again tonight.
Trying this before throwing my PS5 through the window:

That wasn't enough to fix it for me.
So I did something else tonight.

Turn off the PlayStation.
Connect a controller to it using a USB cable.
Press and hold the power button until you hear a 2nd beep.
That starts it in Safe Mode.
Then select Clear System Cache.

You can also select Rebuild Database.
I did not do that part.

After just clearing the cache, I was able to race the rest of the night in our Thursday night lobby.

You're going to like those pedals, after you get them setup to your liking and get used to them. You'll want the brake performance kit, or the ability to improvise, as the brakes as delivered are severely wonky.

Hi guys, yesterday I join a race with a brazilian professional Nascar driver. Here is the outcame. The video has only 14 minutes, the image is the live in his channel. Enjoy

If speculation holds true, the main benefit of the PS5 Pro will be 8K video support.
8k is one benefit that will bring with it a few other important performance changes, including a higher frame rate. It would be nice to get even better anti-aliasing.

The size factor will probably be closer to the Slim. Internals will be the best that it will get, hopefully lowering its power drain, heat and, for my benefit, network lag (I can wish, can't I?), maybe even better VR performance if I decide to go that route.

Apparently, though, SONY can't lower prices, so who knows how much it will cost?

Arrival? Any time from September on works for me.

If you are interested in Lap analysis for improvements or comparison with other drivers, Skippy pointed me to MOTEC I2 PRO.
It is Windows based program which allows you to download data from GT7 from live laps or replays. I have attached some images to show some of the analysis you can generate. In the Lap Time Challenge you can upload your lap and also the replay from one of the leaders and compare braking point, throttle and braking pressure or even section time analysis. YouTube videos are available to show you how to install from GT7 and compare laps and videos.

Our progress so far. Cockpit assembled, needs fine tuning once the wheel arrives. Moved my projector screen to a different wall. This was definitely a two man job. My sound bar that if had for years fit perfectly on the pedal supports. Along with a 400w powered subwoofer an inch from my back. Still getting it all situated. Thanks for helping picking out what to buy for my first setup. That being said, I bought really good golf clubs and still play like **** lol. Thanks for all of yalls
