The trip I was talking about, from Palm Desert to Vegas. I went from Vegas to Palm to see my step american family end returned to Vegas crossing the Mojave Desert. That's a great ride, especially in a Mustang 5.0

Luiz narrating the trip in Portugeezer (had to say it). Great post Luiz would like to have been there. I've been out that way decades ago. I love the western landscape -- much different from the south Louisiana swampscape where I lived. The folks I talked with out there loved the swampscape since it's so different from desert and mountains.

I did that trip about 10 times, love it.

That isn't accurate. If they are trying to represent GT's "bumpercam" view in this picture, the POV of the camera is centre of the car (which they got right) but from the driver's eye position, only there is no car wrapped around you. It's as if you are sitting in the driver's seat, only in the middle of the car. This is why bumpercam view feels so natural, comfortable and familiar.

Proof of this was shown in an earlier version (GT3?) when doing time trials with a ghost. With a slight difference in times, you could see the POV positioning. I used to have a picture of it.

During Saturday’s races we had a brief discussion of the Toyota 2000GT after John drove one in a race. So here’s an interesting story about production vehicle #1, which was turned into a SCCA race car by none other than Carroll Shelby. The car will be auctioned at Amelia Island in March.
