Noticable stuttering/juddering on PS5?

yeah I find it very frustrating. I was doing one of the races - the Hypercar @ Nurb 24hr I believe it was - a few weeks back and at one series of curves the framerate tanked to a really shocking degree...three or four very jarring stutters over a few seconds. I've been a race sim guy for 35 years and I really find it hard to believe this sort of thing is still a common issue...
 
Juddering was something I noticed when I first started playing GT7 (PS5) several months ago, especially in races with transitioning times of day. Maybe I'm just trippin, but lately, it seems to have either gotten less noticeable, or has gone away completely.
