Tuning for SSRX (sub 720PP)

Recently I've been starting to enjoy the Clubman + Cup at SSRX, finding use for some of the crazy engine swaps and my lesser used hypercars which can fall under 720PP on SS tyres. The biggest hurdle, I've found, is extracting top end speed out of some of the cars which seem like they should absolutely fly, but then just get swallowed up by cars that simply shouldn't be running faster.

Example: Maverick-swapped Ford Mustang Gr.3 Road Car with over 1,400hp struggles to exceed 400km/h, but my 989hp GT-R can run at 412km/h without any issue. And they weigh nearly exactly the same.

So, can you guys share your tips or tunes for top speed runs with high-powered cars at SSRX?
 
Setting the down force very low makes quite a difference to the top speed. It did the trick for me with the V8 swapped GT-R R34.
I Think I'm also going to try a couple of other cars just for fun.
