WRC Generations

Just bought WRCG and after a couple of runs, I'm really having fun with it. Thanks for the answers everyone from a few pages back.

Maybe it's skill issue but I found controlling the throttle easier in DR1 than in here (tried Stratos and Escort MK2 in both games). I don't know if it's the bug or because I'm on controller. Them hybrid cars are scary though, driving the legends cars felt easier somehow so this is weird.

Now I wonder how WRC10 handles.

Also, which boost map is better for beginners?

WRC10 handling - not as good. Twitchy as hell on a controller. Less natural, maybe a bit slidier. I’ve come to the opinion after replaying 9/10/Gen that if you’ve got Generations there’s no need to have any of the others too. Unless you really want to try WRC10’s anniversary mode, which was quite a good feature.

I on the other hand prefer the handling of 10, I find it much easier to handle using controller. So depends on individual preference, no right answer.

Go for Circuit Superstar, it's ace!
Hey crynox, miss to hear from you..
Yes does look fun doesn't it..
I checked some long races, and it seems fun with ai, pit stops etc, competitive ai.

Also seems you can do custom championships, or races at least.
Only thing is circuits seem short maybe, and sounds could be better.

It reminded me to check out art of rally, added on my wishlist.
Edit: seems they added a dlc for art of rally, Australia rally.
And i noticed the same dev previous game, absolute drift, seems cool fun too.
Peace.

All the servers for WRC Generations and earlier seem to have been nuked. Offline only from here it seems. Career/season modes still work fine, downloaded liveries seem to be gone though. Doesn’t shock me but seems pretty bad given the games are currently (and often!) on sale, still all listed on the various stores etc.

That would be seriously crappy, considering Generation is not even 2 years old. Could be a temporary hiccup, seeing some reports of servers going offline months ago, but they've come back since.
